What is something most people don’t know, or would be surprised to learn, about you?
I was an out of shape truck driver who smoked a pack a day for 15 years.
What is an accomplishment that makes you proud?
T-1st overall in a 12 hour cycling race, setting a new course record of 264 miles (an average of 22mph)

What is your day job?
I own and operate a personal training studio.
Are you plant-based, why or why not?
100% Vegan. I believe I have come so far in only a short time solely because of my diet/lifestyle.
What sport do you compete in?
Mainly Cycling, but I have done triathlons up to an Ironman distance.
How did you get started in your sport?
I bought a road bike to commute to work, did a few social rides and decided I really liked cycling. A
friend convinced me to try a triathlon and was hooked ever since.
What affect has Amrita had on your training?
Amrita gives me perfectly balanced plant-based nutrition in the convenience of a small package I can
take anywhere as fuel for whatever task I may have at hand.
What are the most important races you have scheduled for 2015?
The National 24 Hr Challenge, Big Jays Fatass 12 Hr and the 6-12-24 Hr World Championship Time Trials
What tip(s) do you have for new athletes?
Don’t be afraid to take chances. I like to live by Wayne Gretzky’s Quote “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”
