No Bake Blueberry Almond Energy Bites — Gluten free and Vegan!

Blueberries are one of the best foods for you and they’re very good for your brain as well. Nutritionists say they are one of the richest sources of cancer-fighting antioxidant called flavonoids, which are also found in green tea, wine, grapes and cocoa. If you are looking to adding blueberries to your diet, here’s a recipe for No Bake Blueberry Almond Energy Bites that can be your family’s new favorite healthy dessert or sweet snack.

Energy Bites can be your easy breakfast, a pop of protein before a workout, or even wonderful as dessert. These Raw Blueberry Almond Energy Bites for a nutritious snack that is sweet and delicious, made with healthier ingredients, and taste like no bake cookies. They will keep you feeling full between meals.




  • ¼ cup flax meal
  • ½ cup dried blueberries
  • 2 tbs coconut
  • ⅓ cup raw almonds, finely chopped
  • 1 cup gluten free oats
  • 1⁄4 cup agave nectar
  • 6 tbs almond butter
  • 2 tsp almond extract



  1. Combine oats flax meal, dried blueberries, coconut, almonds together in a bowl. Toss to combine.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, combine your wet ingredients- agave nectar, almond butter and almond extract.
  3. Microwave for 30 seconds, stirring to ensure the mixture is smooth.
  4. Combine your wet ingredients into your dry mixture. Stir until combined.
    Tip: If you find that you need more almond butter, just be sure to melt it until it’s smooth and add until the mixture clumps
  5. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball. Continue doing this until the mixture has finished. Store in refrigerator for 2 hours.



A good thing about this recipe is that it is flexible as well. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, you can always look around to substitute and adjust ingredients as necessary. You can store them in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 1 week!
