WORTH IT! This is my personal review of all 6 bars from the sample pack:
I stumbled upon this brand and tried their sample pack. I like this brand because I prefer protein bars that are more 'whole food' based. To me, these are that. I have an allergy and these are Free From - Gluten, Eggs, Nuts, Dairy, Soy and GMOs, which also means I can share them for school trips, work outings and with people new to an allergy. Such a pleasure to have healthy, tasty snacks for people caught out without their allergy approved food. Also, I prefer low sugar. These all fit that goal. Here is a breakdown of my personal opinion on the varieties I tried. They are all soft bars. I like soft, but a few of these crumbled a bit, very moist, just a little crumbly as gluten free can sometimes be, so I put a few in the fridge:
CHOCOLATE BROWNIE - Absolutely my favorite of all of them! If you like chocolate and no added sugar, this bar was terrific. I'm going to order a box.
SUNFLOWER BUTTER & JELLY: I had it with my morning coffee and I liked it. It has a strawberry scent and, while each bar has a fig backdrop, this bar feels like I'm eating a 'good for me,' fruity morning snack. If you ever ate the 'fibar' strawberry bars that are no longer on the market, and you liked them as I did, then you will really enjoy these.
DARK CHOCOLATE CRUNCH: This is a solidly GOOD bar. I thought it tasted really good, as did my husband. There is a light crunch, which I prefer.
APPLE CINNAMON: If you like apples, and I do, this is a yummy bar. And there was enough cinnamon to enhance the apple and fig, but not so much that it was overpowering. This one I warmed up and sprinkled into a bowl so it was more like eating a healthy apple pie crumble.
CHOCOLATE CHIP COCONUT: it's perfectly fine, but not my personal favorite. Also, it contains added coconut sugar so I would tend to avoid myself. Neither of us could really taste the coconut, but my husband thought this had more chocolate 'pow' than the Chocolate Brownie and would order this over the brownie.
MANGO COCONUT: I like fruity stuff and I enjoyed this bar and would eat it again. My husband LOVES mango so he was all over this bar. There are real pieces of mango within and it was like eating a mango coconutty snack.
Please note: if you are a 'sugar' person, you may not like these snacks yet because you are used to hyper sugary foods. So I would suggest you step down your sugar before jumping into these and then give them a try. If you prefer/look for low sugar, these are good, hearty bars that I was able to have on hand and eat to feel satisfied, stay on my normal nutrition plan and actually enjoy the snack break.

These bars are so amazing!!! Great for grab and go, flavor is so amazing!! Especially because I am gluten free. It is hard to find a good gluten free bar, but these are so good.

Notice one is missing? I devoured it, that’s why! The apple cinnamon is the one that got me hooked- can’t wait to try the rest! Doing THE HAMSTERWHEEL ultra in a few weeks, these will come in handy.
Perfect for long hike or snacks on the beach. This protein bar didn’t disappoint! Normally protein bars have that odd aftertaste, but these don’t! They are soft, decadent and absolutely delicious. Free of the top 9, but missing nothing in flavor. I loved them all!
I got to try the variety pack of Amrita protein bars, and they were really tasty! I liked some flavors more than others, but overall they were a great way to curb hunger throughout the day. My personal favorites were the dark chocolate and chocolate brownie ones :) I was happy I could let my allergy kiddos try them as well, and they enjoyed them too! The texture reminded me a bit of a fig newton, and the aftertaste was pleasant. I'd recommend giving these a try if you're looking for something healthy to incorporate into your everyday snacks for your family!
I love that these bars are top-9 allergen free and that the protein is plant-based. I also like that they have minimal added sugars and mostly natural sugars. I think it's a great complete snack for the afternoon with healthy fats, carbs, fiber, and protein. I love the chocolate brownie flavor! The texture is perfect–it's soft and not too chewy, nor does it crumble apart.

I absolutely love Amrita’s high protein bars! I bought the variety pack since I wanted to try all the flavors to narrow down which ones I would repurchase. Well, I can’t narrow it down-I’m going to order all of them again! The variety of delicious flavors, the really low net carbs and high protein per bar make them irresistible to me. The absolute best protein bar I’ve had…and I’ve tried to find healthy protein bars for years! (low sugar, low preservative). Amrita flavors are all delicious and not real sweet. This starter pack allows you to try one of each and then reorder your favorites without breaking the bank!! Thank you!!

I was so excited when I found this company - I have 20+ life threatening food allergies and it has been nearly impossible to find protein bars that are safe for me. Too often, the factories of other protein bars have cross contamination that keeps me from eating the safely.
